Phyllostachys Nigra Black Bamboo

Phyllostachys Nigra black bamboo is a very hardy black bamboo that produces stunning, architectural culms (canes) which are ebony black. Plant in full sun or partial shade and water well in the first year. It grows easily up to 6m tall and is non-invasive. You can prune the tops to contain the height with no detriment to the plant. Excellent planted out or potted for an effective, striking black bamboo screen.
