Phyllostachys Vivax Aureocaulis Bamboo Plant

Phyllostachys Vivax aureocaulis is a very hardy yellow caned bamboo that can grow to quite a size. The leaves as well as the culms (canes) are large and thick and this bamboo can ultimately reach 6-8m tall. The deep yellow canes are often randomely striped with green providing an attractive evergreen plant. Ideally plant in full sun to part-shade for the best coloured canes and water well in the first year until established. A stunning clump-forming bamboo perfect for a specimen.
