Phyllostachys aureosulcata Spectabilis Bamboo Plant

Phyllostachys 'Spectabilis' is another very striking bamboo, producing golden yellow canes which turn a deep red colour if planted in full sun. The canes are slender with some culms ctually zigzagging! An unusual feature of Phyllostachys 'Spectabilis' are the alternating green lines set in the grooves of the canes. An ideal specimen plant for a container or border. Phyllostachys 'Spectabilis' grows to 6 metres tall and is very easy to grow. Plant in full sun or part-shade.
