Musa Basjoo - Hardy Banana Banana Plant

Musa basjoo or Japanese Hardy Banana is an extremely popular, root hardy Musa banana that can be left outdoors all year round. Bright green leaves and fast growth make this the perfect banana for the UK. Simple winter protection will produce Musa basjoo banana plants up to 10 ft+ tall which sucker easily.

Available as a 3.5cm plug which always grows quickly from spring.

2x 3 Litre plants.

22 Litre pot with trunks cut down to 70cm. Leaves have been removed on the larger Musa to facilitate packing. This has not harmed the plant and the leaves will re-grow very quickly in spring.
