Musa Sikkimensis is a relatively new Musa banana plant, similar in hardiness to Musa basjoo but much better for exposed sites as the leaves are more wind tolerant. Can be left outside all year round with protection. The banana leaves are an extremely attractive green, splashed with red and can grow 3-4m tall in the UK. A perfect addition to M. basjoo.
