Dicksonia Antartica Tree Fern

Dicksonia Antartica is an architectural Australian tree fern with a thick fibre-coated trunk and lacy green fronds.Tree ferns are perfect for that jungle look. The palm-like evergreen fronds grow very quickly and tolerate frost well.

These Dicksonia Antartica have been spore grown and are ready to plant into 2-3 Litre pots. Whilst the fronds will grow large quickly, the trunk will take many years to form and expect 1 foot of trunk every 10-12 years! Looks great in part-shade or full sun if the fern is kept very well watered. Quickly produces lush new fronds in spring.
