Strelitzia augusta or alba Plant

Strelitzia augusta or alba is a large growing white Bird of Paradise with wide paddle-shaped green leaves that grow large white, bird like flowers. They are a very easy to grow banana-like plant and can be planted in part-shade or full sun if well watered. Strelitzia can be grown in a well-lit room all year or sheltered garden from May to September and is worth space anywhere you have available. Very easy to grow and given the space are spectacular.
