Vitus Vinifera Purpurea grape vine is a deciduous vine perfect for anyone considering growing ornamental grapes in their garden. They are surprisingly easy to grow and can be planted in the ground all year round. This vine produces small, purple inedible grapes and is ideal for covering a fence or wall. Vitus Vinifera Purpurea is usually grown as an ornamental vine for its striking foliage that turns a deep red/purple in Autumn. Flowers are produced in May and June and are small and scented.
