Miscanthus sinensis Zebrinus Stripey Grass

Miscanthus sinensis 'Zebrinus' is a striking perennial grass with long, dark green leaves with creamy white or pale yellow horizontal bands. They are fully hardy, should be grown in full sun either in the ground or a pot. The leaves are at their most spectacular from mid-summer onwards when silvery-white flower spikes are produced. In spring the leaves re-grow green and Miscanthus Zebra grass can grow as tall as 2m in a season. The plants are dormant in winter and are best cut down to several cm above pot.
