Ophiopogon Black Grass  

Ophiopogon planiscarpus Nigrescens or Lilyturf is an unusual plant with purple/green leaves that turn deep black when grown in full-sun and well=drained soil. It is suitable for most soil types and as it is a dwarf grass best grown at the front of a border or pot and loks stunning planted in groups with other grasses. Small bell-shaped flowers appear in late summer turning to dark purple.black berries. Fully hardy and clump forming to 20x30cm.
