Dracaena draco Palm

Dracaena draco is an ancient plant that is very rare in the wild and often only found in a few locations around the world. The striking Dracaena draco is commonly called the Dragon Tree as when wounded, the tree oozes a blood red sap known as Dragons Blood. This has been used in alchemy for thousands of years and was a witches favourite! Requires very free-draining soil and little water and is highly resistant to pests and diseases. Dragon Trees are best grown in bright light and can be grown outside in summer only (although older plants are hardy to a few degrees of frost). Dracaena draco is a very slow grower and will ultimately form multiple branches with masses of blue-green leaves. If you are lucky, they will produce a flower spike with white scented flowers with orange berries following.
