Phoenix Dactylifera Palm Tree

Phoenix dactylerifera or Date Palm is an ideal palm for the UK and grows quickly. Ideal to grow in a pot or border in a sheltered spot with well-drained soil. The feather shaped leaves grow from a dense crown and can grow huge. In the UK, they will not reach great heights, but they can still be grown to large specimen palms. Phoenix dactylifera develop tall trunks as the plant matures. Will need protection in winter.
