Phormium Tenax Rainbow Queen Flaxes are striking architectural plants which require virtually no maintenance. This Phormium is an upright evergreen perennial with rigid spiky leaves which are an attractive combination of pink, red, green & bronze striped leaves. Phormium are also great for exposed coastal areas having upright strap-like green leaves. Abundant orange-red tubular flowers are occasionaly produced in summer as the plant matures and this is one of the most architectural garden plants with year round interest. They are very hardy, tolerating drought or cold winter wet and growing ultimately to 2mx3m. Available now in 3 Litre pots 70cm tall inc. pot.
