Phormium Tenax Variegated Flax Plant

Phormium tenax 'Variegata' or Variegated New Zealand Flax are striking architectural plants which require virtually no maintenance. They are upright evergreen perennials with rigid spikey yellow and green leaves and are almost indestructible! Phormium Variegata are also great for exposed locations having large upright strap-like green/yellow leaves. Flowers on mature specimens shoot up on massive spikes and are one of the most architectural garden plants, year round interest. They are very hardy, tolerating drought or cold winter wet.
