Prunus laurocerasus 'Rotundifolia' or Common Laurel is a vigorous evergreen shrub with large shiny bright-green oval leaves. Masses of white flowers grow in Spaing after which you can prune any time through until summer. Ideal for planting as a hedge anywhere from shade to sun and requiring only an annual or twice yearly prune. A perfect hedging plant for any free-draining soil except shallow chalk. When planting as a hedge, space at 60cm (2 ft) intervals
